Gold Velvet Sofa is two-piece Alternative/Revival Band from Salem, MA. Performing live as a duo, they create a new, modern sound, while being reminiscent of the great alternative bands of the 90s. Gold Velvet Sofa spent the pandemic discovering how to create the live sound they heard in their head from just 2 instruments: Bass VI and Drums. There are plenty of huge sounding rock duos - Death From Above 1979, The Blue Stones, Cleopatrick, Royal Blood - all of them sounding massive with less.
